For women and some men who are concerned about the hair on their head, "you are what you eat" comes to play. Asides using the right hair products and hairstyles, eating the right kind of food helps hair growth and sheen. Here is a list of some foods that I checked out that will boost the look of your locks;
1. FISH - fish in form of salmon and sardines are rich in omega 3 that increases hair sheen and lustre and reduces dull, dry hair.
2. POULTRY - poultry is rich in zinc, iron and vitamin B12 that increases hair growth.
3. EGGS - protein and lots of iron are plenty in eggs.
4. SWEET POTATO - sweet potato contains beta carotene that our body converts to vitamin A which helps hair growth.
5. CARROTS - lots of beta carotene and vitamin A.
6. SPINACH - lots of iron to go round.
So eat up n look up to your locks.
