UNILAG STANDS STILL

At around 2pm, the University of Lagos was on stand still for an hour due to a suspected protest by students, the front gate was of the University was inaccessible to people leaving and coming into the school premise with the school's security and the Sabo police force on guard. There were several complaints as people and car owners were forced to use the alternate gate at Iwaya, alot of students and visitors going to Bariga through the main gate refused to leave the premises and decided to wait. The gate was eventually open after the students intending to protest left without success.
