The new set of smartphones that are yet to hit the market, are the curved shaped phones first created by Samsung. Samsung recently launched their first curved shape smartphone, Samsung galaxy round but that just put other phone companies to the test.
LG created their own curved smartphone called G-flex, the phone is not like your average rectangular shaped phone, it is curved at the sides and has a different material for the screen.
Instead of the average rigid glass used beneath the screen, it has plastic, which makes it more durable especially when u drop your phone a lot without smashing your screen. The plastic used also makes the phone thinner and lighter to carry.
The curved shape doesn't actually mean that it can bend, it just gives more enhanced visuals and phone durability.
